About the random number generator

Choose a raffle winner, pick lottery-style numbers, split players into an order, or settle any “pick a number between 1 and 10”. Set the lowest and highest numbers, how many you want, and whether they may repeat.

How to use it

  1. Enter the lowest and highest numbers. Both are included, and negative numbers work too.
  2. Enter how many numbers you want, from 1 to 1,000.
  3. Tick No repeats if each number may only appear once, and Sort if you want them in order.
  4. Press Generate. With more than one number, Copy numbers puts them on your clipboard.

Questions

Is every number equally likely?

Yes. The generator uses your browser’s cryptographic random number generator and avoids the small bias simpler methods have, so every number in the range has the same chance.

What does No repeats do?

It makes every number in the result different, like drawing raffle tickets from a hat. You cannot ask for more numbers than the range contains.

Are the numbers sent anywhere?

No. They are generated in your browser and are not sent to or stored by Aback Games.
